GYC Racing
Genesee Yacht Club has a strong commitment and enthusiasm for
Racing. We are known for our competitive
Tuesday
Night and Weekend Club Racing. Weekend Racing consists of Long
Distance and Series races. We also facilitate Informal & informative
"Pizza Races" where all can learn the basics of racing or hone racing
skills without the pressure of competitive racing. GYC host two
traditional signature races, the
Scotch
Bonnet and the
Women Skipper Invitational. We also co-host the
Hospice Regatta
with the Rochester Yacht Club.

Set Sail, Celebrate Life, Support Hospice
Plan
now to take part in Rochester’s 12th annual Hospice Regatta
on Friday, August 20 and Saturday, August 21, hosted by
Genesee Yacht Club. This is the area’s largest charity
regatta, with more than 60 sailboats expected to race on
Saturday, plus hundreds of Hospice supporters attending
great parties on Friday and Saturday.
