Genesee Yacht Club has a strong commitment and enthusiasm for Racing.  We are known for our competitive Tuesday Night and Weekend Club Racing.  Weekend Racing consists of Long Distance and Buoy Series races.   We also facilitate Informal & informative “Pizza Races” where all can learn the basics of racing or hone racing skills without the pressure of competitive racing.  GYC host two traditional signature races, the Scotch Bonnet and the Woman Skippers Invitational.  We also co-host the Hospice Regatta with the Rochester Yacht Club.
